The 3F HD lenses (High Definition Glass) are the result of long-term development of optical glass with an admixture of crystalline calcium fluoride, which has low colour dispersion even at high refractive indices and allows better correction of optical aberrations for higher image performance. You will appreciate glasses with fluoride (HD) lenses in difficult light conditions – typically sharp sunlight, on snow or against the water surface. While with standard lenses dark objects on an overexposed background are surrounded by more or less coloured fringes, fluoride lenses suppress this effect significantly, so fine details and correct colour rendering stand out on a dark object. 3F – New Version II – a new dimension of vision.
